Many years ago Mrs. Rebecca Tribble donated a section of property off South Cove Road that contained a fishing pond. Over the past several years it has been developed into a beautiful recreational park. There are two covered shelters (one with a wood burning fireplace), bathrooms, kitchen, outdoor grill, and a large deck overlooking the water. A handicapped accessible playground has been installed and the pond has been stocked with fish. A handicapped accessible trail surrounds the pond.
This beautiful piece of property has become an escape to nature for our individuals. This project was made possible by grants and donations from our community.
The Tribble Center is proud to open the tranquility of the Recreation Park to the community for birthday parties, reunions, and a variety of celebrations.
